About Anna's Cornwall View
Welcome to my website, which showcases DSLR, iPhone & film images that I’ve taken in my home county of Cornwall, in the UK.
Much of my work is available to purchase, for both personal and commercial use. Please see my Getty Images site, the Flickr Marketplace, or use the web form (link in the footer) to contact me.
10th December 2014:
Due to the new EU VAT rules which will be introduced on 1st January 2015 (which I discovered by accident last month), I have temporarily removed my digital products from sale at Zenfolio. I've reached out to Zenfolio to find out if they are working on a solution but have heard nothing back as yet.
If you sell digital products, this will affect you too - even if you're below the current UK VAT threshold. You can find out more about it here:
Search #VATMOSS or #VATMESS on Twitter.
I was originally inspired to take up digital photography in 2006, in order to create a record of the Cornish landscape where I walk. My photography has greatly evolved since then and my primary goal has become the attempt to convey my personal constructions of the essence and mood of a place or moment. I particularly value spontaneity and have fun with my photography. I enjoy photographing the extremely picturesque views that Cornwall is renowned for but I also love very simple scenes and those that might be considered mundane.
I’ve arranged my galleries in terms of geographical location. Images of the Cornish coast have been grouped according to their sequence along the coastline, following it in an anticlockwise direction. Similarly, images of The Camel Trail and River Camel begin inland, following the trail and river towards the sea.
I've also included a page where the locations featured are listed alphabetically.
I’m hoping my website will become an extensive collection of images and I’ll be updating it on a regular basis. I’ll add new images to the blog, in addition to the galleries arranged by geography, so that it’s easy to keep track of them. My aim is to create a photographic record of the whole of the Cornish coast, following the South West Coast Path, but I’ve a long way to go yet!
I hope you enjoy viewing my images, thanks for visiting.
