The coast path leads in a north eastwards direction towards the beach at Plaidy.
South cornwall cliffs
The view of the south coast cliffs in an easterly direction, with the buildings at Downderry just about visible.

The ocean currents have created two areas of contrasting water colour with a sharp boundary between them.

The in-shore water is very pale in colour. A narrow band of the deeper turquoise is visible on the horizon.

The wave cut platform is encrusted with sea life but I didn't have time to investigate.
